access:
enter at Rutger Fuchsgatan number 3, to the right of The Border (the restaurant) using the door code. follow the corridor into the courtyard. enter the courtyard building via the green door with the glass panels using the same door code. this code box is faulty, helps to press the keys with a little bit of force. fourth floor to the right, heidler.
the keys are stored inside a plastic zipper bag above the attic door, which is one floor up from my apartment.
no elevator!
please lock both the lower and the upper lock when leaving the apartment. the lower lock is worked with the master key, which opens all doors!
important!
- if you’d like to use the dishwasher under the sink, you will need to open the vent in the back under the sink. please close the vent before leaving the apartment, for insurance purposes. you will find the dishwater tablets on the opposite wall. please don’t put any of the hand-made looking cups into the dishwasher, thank you.
- standard trash outlet is in the courtyard, next to the tree;
- recycling station is in östgötgatan, under the arch;
- if you’re separating bio-waste, please put full bags in the bottom drawer of the freezer and i’ll dispose of them when i’m back. bio-waste bag is on the wall opposite of the sink, in the green “basket”. fresh bio-waste bags are on the bottom shelf, under the green “basket”;
- the hoover is in the kitchen, right by the door frame at the bottom shelf. the different attachments can be found in the vicinity of the hoover. i like to play the game, where did i put that attachment again?;
- the steamer for clothes is hanging off the door handle in the bedroom;
- extra toilet paper is on the shelf above the toilette. so are the towels, in case you’d need extra;
- the smoke alarm can be extremely sensitive! it might go off the moment you use the oven or fry something. the stove-top fan helps, opening the window a little also helps.
- the dining table folds, in case you’d like to throw in a yoga class. the thin yellow yoga mat is right beside the bookshelf. you can find a thick turquoise yoga mat and a woollen yoga mat in the wardrobe;
- there’s a bluetooth speaker next to the bed, press the left button to switch it on, and hold the middle button to activate bluetooth connection mode.
the noise the smoke alarm makes is intense, sorry about that. the way to disengage the fire alarm is by climbing to a chair or the dining table and pressing and holding the button at the centre of the smoke alarm until the noise stops. the smoke alarm i am talking about is fixed into the dining room ceiling;
laundry:
- locate the set of keys with a blue plastic tag. i can’t remember if i hung the set with the set i gave you or if i left them hanging off the bookshelf next to the coats. the blue plastic tag will be paired with a colourful key with winnie the pooh character and another key that looks exactly like the master key you open the door to the apartment with. the winnie the pooh key is useless, but easy to spot 😇
- that key that looks like the master key opens the heavy green door to the basement. the basement door is in the courtyard, to the left from the door you go through to access the street via the street side building.
- access the basement, go down the stairs, and enter the corridor to the right. you’ll see an old electric machine on the wall with big green and yellow buttons. lean the blue plastic tag against the reader on the machine and click on [boka] to see the available slots. you need to book the slot to be able to get access to the laundry room which is the door to the right of the machine.
- laundry detergent is on the shelf in the bathroom in the blue string bag. i run out of fabric softener, but you’ll find detergent for colours/whites and a separate one for darks. i hope this makes sense. you can send me a message if something’s unclear. my phone number is on top of the page.
other:
the remote control i left on the tiny shelf by the entrance, point it to the top right corner above the entrance and press ON.
the spray bottle contains a homemade air freshener, lavender. shake it well before spraying.
